TopDog Communication and Development, L.L.C., was founded by Joi Lecznar, a results oriented consultant specializing in internal communication and human resources development.
Previously, Joi was the Regional Development Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co., a leading global financial services firm with total assets of $1.2 trillion, operations in more than 50 countries and 160,000 employees. In this capacity, Joi managed a human resources team who directed organizational development strategy and activities for 20,000 employees in Texas, including development and delivery of diversity initiatives. She worked in various other human resources development roles, training, benefits and compensation, and communication at JPMorgan for 10 years.
In addition, Joi spent the first 10 years of her career at Mercer, Incorporated, a division of Marsh & McLennan Companies, with 150,000 employees in 40 countries. As a communication consultant and officer, Joi worked with over 100 organizations in developing and implementing internal communication strategies, specializing in benefits and compensation.
Joi graduated With Distinction from the University of Nebraska, majoring in Journalism and Communication, completed a certificate in Executive Business Education at the Smith College Consortium, and has received advanced facilitation and diversity training. Joi is a member of the International Association of Business Communication (IABC). She is certified as a senior human resources professional (SPHR) from the Society for Human Resource Management, and has been published by the Houston Business Journal.
